One method used is to transfer risk to motor vehicle insurance company. PT Indrapura Insurance as a general insurance company in Indonesia in terms of Gross Premium Written, PT Indrapura Insurance have proven commitment of service to its customers through the payment of claims quickly and accurately for a wide range of products offered. However, in practice there are barriers, especially in terms of the number of employees who handle claims. Preparation of final project is about the Motor Vehicle Insurance Claims in PT Indrapura Insurance , a claim knowing the procedure, knowing the things that cause a motor vehicle insurance claim can be rejected, and determine the suitability of the process of filing an insurance claim with PT Indrapura Insurance Standard Operational Procedure. In this study to determine how the procedure of motor vehicle insurance claim filing, the terms of filing an insurance claim, the cause of a claim is rejected, the suitability of the claims handling process with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as well as obstacles in the process of handling insurance claims in PT Indrapura Insurance used interview method (Primary Data) and using descriptive methods. The procedure of filing a claim on the PT Indrapura Insurance are: Reports claim delivered within 72 hours of an accident by the insured, after receiving reports of insured claims, Customer Service (CS) examine the feasibility of the claim as well as the complete document. When the results of the validation is appropriate and correct, then the registration of the claim made. Further survey, the surveyor conduct the survey according to the schedule given by the CS. After the survey, conducted subsequent claims estimation and acceptances. The process is the final payment to the repair shop. A claim may be rejected due to incomplete documents submitted by the customer, charging forgery of personal data and discovered facts that do not fit with the history of the insured. Claims handling process is in compliance with Standard Operating Procedure (SPK). In the terms and documents used quite complete and adequate.
