The background of this research is to know so importance of claim handling motor vehicle performed by Claim Deparment for their client or insured. As we know, many insurance company that giving the best service for their customer as the way to compete with other insurance company.
The purpose of this research to know how work practice at General Insurance Companies especially on Claim Department and to finding out the problems or cases that occurred in process.
Data of this research are used from the Literatures and the result of work practices on PT Asuransi Harta Aman Tbk., as the one of the middle biggest Insurance company in Indonesia.
The research finds that Claim Department on PT Asuransi Harta Aman Oratama TVk. Not only handling claim but also present the insured thart insurer care and response with their customer.
