The background of the thesis is the important of reinsurer for ceding company. The evolve of insurance industry to develop a product for give the service to customers as a result to loss become a reason to using reinsurer. Ceding company have a trouble like necessary and experience, so the ceding company have to choose the correct method of reinsurer for minimize the risk and optimize in fulfill the rensposibility, so the writer take this theme. The purpose of the thesis are to know how specify the method of the reinsurer, to know how to take decision in choosing the method, and to know the relationship between ceding company and reinsurer. The method of the thesis use the qualitative method.
