The author has the opportunity to carry out work practices at PT BRI Asuransi Indonesia in the marketing or retail and micro business division, the author acts as an intern who carries our activities according to the author's supervisor, namely carrying out administrative activities such as making letters proposing business operational costs, checking and revising documents given by the relationship manager such as addendums and so on, print out and scan, filing documents, and record in archive books. With the rise of digitalization in various aspects, many companies are utilizing this digital technology into their operations including the insurance company where author practices work. PT BRI Asuransi Indonesia has implemented digitalization into its operations and switched from traditional insurance to modern insurance based on sophisticated digital technology. The problem focuses on actual problems with insurance companies in implementing updates to their operations, namely by involving digital technology. Methods of data collection and analysis are carried out through interviews and observations, and in practice the author finds several obstacles and problems that arise which can disrupt the smooth working process or PT. BRI Asuransi Indonesia in carrying out its activities. The purpose of this research is to answer problems that arise in the application of digital technology in insurance company operations, and with this research it is hoped that it can provide conclusions and results that can be useful for parties involved in the insurance industry especially in Indonesia.
